Eloping from New York USA to Salzburg Austria – KATE & JOE
Shortly before Christmas 2015, Kate and Joe spent a week visiting Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck. But this was not going to be just a vacation like all others. Moreover, it was going to be THE Christmas when they tied the know in beautiful Austria.
They said their I DO’s in one of the most beautiful registry offices in Europe: the Marble Hall of the Mirabell Palace, in the heart of Salzburg. The gardens of the palace, with their views to the fortress, are absolutely charming even in winter. As are the romantic cobblestone streets in the old city centre of Salzburg.
We coordinated everything related to their paperwork for civil marriage and completed the application on their behalf, at the registry office in Salzburg, so they only had to show up on the wedding day and enjoy their legal ceremony.
Schloss Mirabell Salzburg – The ceremony venue
Built in the 17th century, The Mirabell Palace is one of the most beautiful venues for a legal marriage ceremony in Austria. The palace and its gardens are a cultural heritage monument, part of the Historic Centre of the City of Salzburg UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A ceremony here is also very cost-efficient, since it houses several departments of the municipal administration of Salzburg, and the Marble Hall is the room usually used for civil ceremonies – the registration cost is usually not higher than 300 €.
