From Canada to Austria, for an intimate Vienna destination wedding, with a tavern welcome dinner and a palatial reception – Anlin & Sam

After needing to postpone their dream destination wedding due to pandemic-related restrictions back in 2020, Anlin and Sam could finally see it all come true in September 2022. Their long-awaited Vienna destination wedding was finally happening, with 22 of their dearest family and friends – even though the initially planned guest list had to be reduced, due to travel restrictions still being in place for their relatives and friends from China. Most guests flew in from Canada to celebrate with Anlin and Sam and then continued their European vacation.

Every aspect of our experience with Irene was simply fantastic, and it truly displays her professionalism, great work ethic, and excellent taste in aesthetics. We just had our wedding in September, 2022 in Vienna and it was everything we dreamt of and more. Our process started in 2020, but plans were derailed due to the pandemic. During that time, Irene kept in touch with us from time to time but only to check in to make sure us and our families were doing ok. It made us feel that she truly cared about us and we were not just her clients.

The first day of Anlin and Sam’s Vienna destination wedding started with a bridal styling trial, continued with a short pre-wedding shoot in the gardens of the famous Schönbrunn Palace and ended with a welcome dinner at a traditional Austrian restaurant.

When it was time to get down to planning in 2022, Irene was simply a superstar. She was able to provide us with so many valuable suggestions because of her wealth of knowledge and experience. She gave us choices and insights on the different topics, and made the navigation process as easy as possible. She was always organized, prepared and thorough. And when I say she is organized, I have never met someone as organized as her.

Everything was presented to us very clearly, with references and hyperlinks for more information. We were always fully aware of what we needed to do and how far along we were in the process. And when it came to making decisions, she was always respectful of our opinions and considerate of our wishes and circumstances. She was never pushy about any subject matters and was always understanding, even though we were often tardy in our response times to emails and deadlines.

The wedding day started at the Hotel Imperial, with relaxed preparations of the bridal party.

When we encountered some major challenges, she thought ten steps ahead and presented us with the best options promptly and with our best interest in mind. In addition, she is well connected within the industry and has great relationships with many excellent photographers, videographers, florists, venues, etc. For example, we love our photographer, Nikol, and the work she has done for us.
